Description:
Biktarvy® is a once-daily, single-tablet regimen that combines three antiretroviral agents: Bictegravir (an integrase strand transfer inhibitor), Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide (both nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors). It is designed for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.

Indications:

• Treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients (as prescribed)
• Suitable for patients with no prior antiretroviral treatment history or those who are virologically suppressed on a stable regimen

Dosage & Administration:

• Take one tablet once daily
• Can be taken with or without food
• Should be taken at the same time each day

• Prescription-only medication
• Not indicated for HIV prevention (PrEP)
• Patients should not combine with other antiretroviral medications unless directed by a healthcare provider
